It’s very hard to imagine living without something until you actually lose it.  Cooking last night, I didn’t lose my thumb, but due to the injury sustained, I’ve lost its function for the next couple of days.  Seeing that it’s my left thumb, I didn’t really think I would miss it all that much.  Yet, just through the morning alone, I already noticed all the convenience that a good left thumb could bring.  Such tasks’ level of difficulties have increased dramatically: (more…)
