WTB: Will Power and Good Work Ethics
Monday, February 1st, 2010I am not really sure what there is to write about for me today, as I really have yet to do much for anything. Verney is still in midst of a re-write, and I have not done too much in terms of shooting since the Scene Card videos. All this have just made me more and more in awe of those who manage a full time job and still find the time to be creative on the side.
When I come home from work, I want nothing more than to sit down on the couch and do absolutely nothing, which is precisely the path that I have been following for the past month or so. There is no other excuse other than sheer laziness.
To be absolutely honest, the only reason I even found the will to write a post today is because I wanted to see what it’s like to post a couple of words from the blackberry. On the other hand, now that I am actually writing something, I am very drawn to the idea of loading up Final Draft and work on the script…which is precisely what I am going to do.
Vancouver is getting ready for the Olympics, especially in the downtown core. They’ve already started putting up signages for parking restrictions and road closures in hopes of cutting down traffic once the Games are in full motion.
At the same time, they’ve also done a few things to make the city look a lot more interesting. It’s really all give and take, upsides here, downsides there. A lot of people still aren’t too happy about having the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, but then again, the other half of the city is utterly giddy about it.
