My 1st Movie

It’s not really a movie. It’s the 15 second SCENE commercial I’ve been talking about for the last couple of weeks. I think voting is finally over, so I am just putting the video up on the site now. I plan on cutting a longer version of it in the next week or so and putting it up on the site. It is also a plan to have another page within the website that will serve as an archive for all my work, a portfolio if you will.

Red 11 has slowed down considerably. The writing just isn’t there. I am going to need a couple of nights where I lie in bed and visualize the movie before I can make some progress on the project. Myrna Loy, William Powell, Fred Astaire, and Ginger Rogers have been taking up some of my time considerably. Listening to my iPod on the Skytrain to work is cutting into my daydreaming aka visualization time as well.

Verney is also getting a considerable re-write. I read through it once again and decided it was just too slow. This second draft starts out a lot quicker, and I also thought up of a few new scenes to make the story a lot more interesting.

That’s it for now. Here is the clip mentioned in the first paragraph, and make sure to check out the slightly longer version I would’ve had if there hadn’t been a 15 second limit. I guess it’s considered the director’s cut if you will. That should be up some time next week.
