A Principal Photography Wrap please
Principal photography for my 15 second SCENE commercial wrapped yesterday, and just in the nick of time. As I was putting equipment back into my transport, the last rays of light faded in oblivion. A few of the shots ended up looking a lot better and easier to shoot than I had thought. I was slightly disappointed though, with not being able to capture a particular scene with a spinning wheel. That, turned out to be a lot harder to come by when you want your budget to be zero.
I also shot the scenes for another SCENE project by a fellow film maker. It doesn’t make sense to help the competition, but on the other hand, I am entitled to half of the profits should she win.
So now, we are moving into post-production mode. I have the computer, but I need a DV IEE 1394 cable, something I somehow missed. The plan is to pick one up tomorrow on the way home from work, and edit both videos before the contests closes this weekend.
