Jim Carrey was no doubt a childhood hero/idol of mine. The dude was a friggin' comic genius, but yes the occasional genius roles he puts out are smeared by the other multiple weak links of a comedic movie. And don't forget to mention that one movie where he tries to be all wacky and not in a funny way either. Of course, I am talking about 23. That movie just didn't work.
