MORE OF THE UNDEAD

Without wind or sudden drop in temperature, a cold front fell across my chest.  My skin quickly responded by increasing its surface area with erect buds, hair sticking out on ends.  My hand emitted moisture, and suddenly, the grip on the controller was no longer so sercure.  And all I’ve done so far is run across the bridge, I hadn’t even dropped down onto the battlegrounds yet.  Just hearing the title Resident Evil was enough to increase my blood flow.  Forget capillaries and veins, my blood was rushing like the damn Yellow River of China.

It took me a month after downloading BioShock for me to man up and go through the level.  Even then, I couldn’t find the guts to just pull up my pants, stick out my chest, and bear the horrors that I knew were to come. How do you prepare yourself for what will be abrupt and unexpected no matter how alert you are?  I can only imagine it will be more than a month before I can finish the Resident Evil 5 Demo.  Maybe playing it in Co-Op mode with a friend will be a safer bet.

Though inexprienced with the game and the franchise, I was immediately impressed.  The graphics look wonderful.  Beautifully rendered with a lot of detail for the eye, it is one of the better looking games I’ve seen on the PS3 thus far. The controls are simple and easy to use.  Ready a gun or a weapon with one weapon, then hit another to fire or strike.  I am always a fan of games which put the user in complete control, such is the case where I am allowed to choose when the character walks, crawl or run.  I can travel at more than one speed, so why shouldn’t my character.  Bringing in a partner for the game is very Army of Two, which at the same time, is a game I enjoyed very much.  Tactics and teamwork will undoubtedly play a part in the campaign.  Even though my pants will be wet, and a stench will emit from me soiling myself, I can already tell the Co-Op campaign is going to be a lot of fun.
